I was surprised the times I have traveled to Austria how often I see an egg served in the same manner. Looks strange but I've seen it over goulash, pizza & similar soups.
It could be a cooked egg...I've had desserts like that in Seville, or an apricot half.

ReplyDeleteIt's definitely not a raw or cooked egg. It's half of an canned apricot or a peach. Eggs are not served on dessert here in the CR :-)
ReplyDeleteThat soup looks good!
ReplyDeleteThese Czech Republic meals look really tasty! I am going to have to find a Czech restaurant to try next time I am near La Grange TX. :-)

The yellow thing is dessert, so it could not be raw egg, it is probably canned apricot on top of cocoa cake or ginger bread.
ReplyDeleteAnd it seems that from time of my childhood are the plates the same, maybe it could be the SAME :D.
ReplyDeleteHi, I'm from the Czech Republic. It's apricot or peach compote. Compote is cooked fruit.
