Various school lunches from around the world. School lunch doesn't really represent the best a country has to offer, but we still love it, because we grew up on it.
In my experience in both public and private, the plate doesn't mean it's a better school. Many schools are doing things to become more "green" and save money as well as create less waste. It could be either
we hav a mix of paper plates and china ones.
I went to elementary school in the UK in the 80s and real plates were the norm.
You'll find real plates at pretty much every school in the UK, primary and secondary, private and state!
