Notes: Tasty and healthy. That roast beef looks awesome. I'm not a huge fan of tofu, it's a texture thing. As Doc pointed out, this isn't an actual school lunch, but rather someone's idea of the "ideal" school lunch.
Wow! That's by far the best US school lunch I've ever seen.
ReplyDeleteOh, wait ... here's a bit from the original article: "...Check out the image gallery, which includes Berkeley schools chef Ann Cooper's dream school lunch pictures above ... Grilled beef salad with tatsoi, brown rice and tofu salad, bok choy stir-fry, a pear and 1 percent milk would make an expensive yet ideal, healthy school lunch."
I thought that it looked too good to be true.
Too good to be true :( I was flipping out when I saw the picture...but read further. Oh well, someday!!!
ReplyDeleteI wish! It looks sooo good! Better than the crap I ate at school!
ReplyDeleteI was about to comment that you finally found an amazing delish-looking American lunch...
