All of these lunches are from Czech school canteens. These are just main courses, they are always accompanied by soup and drink. There are way too many to post here, so I thought I would just post a link. Czech School Lunch photos here.
Thanks Sarka!
Those look awesome!
ReplyDeleteLove the vegetable platter towards the end of the gallery. Every single school should offer a lunch like this at least once a week - simple, healthy, and refreshing.

Deletemy god why cant usa have school lunch like that
ReplyDeleteoh believe me the food looks better then it actually taste...most of the time the potatoes are overcooked and without any taste...salt=evil, and meat is really tough you spend more time picking your teeth after then by actual eating and i could go on and on but well i guess as they say the grass is greener on the other side
ReplyDeleteVery true. And most vegetables are boiled to mush, also with no salt.
ReplyDeleteI quite enjoyed school lunches at my canteen (primary, secondary, college) in the CR. One really should appreciate that they are trying (and succeeding) to make nutritious meals.
ReplyDeleteThese look good to me, but I'll bet if you put them on a plastic tray and labeled them USA, folks would rant about how awful they look.
