  1. It looks like fried chicken with tonkatsu sauce, which is a sauce similar to tamarind chutney. The black stuff in the upper left looks like maybe seaweed with eggplant. The soup looks like miso soup with tofu.

  2. I agree with anonymous. And yeah, the fried stuff is tonkasu and it's either chicken, pork, or fish (though the standard is pork).
