Notes: Eating lunch outside, now that's the way to go. I'm sure they do it out of necessity, but I think it would be great for kids to do every once in a while. We had the option in High School, but never before that.
Hard to tell from the picture. Given the colors and textures I'd guess rice and curried peas or chick peas. There's also something white on the plate - maybe hard-boiled eggs?

ReplyDeleteThe white is plain yogurt. It is a staple with this type of food. The other stuff looks like dal. Some sort of lentil or gram cooked with spices etc..
